WOA (Women of Ascension) - All women of all ages are invited the first Saturday of each month from 12:00-2:00pm to attend this lunch time gathering with program. (Location: Ascension House.)

MOA (Men of Ascension) - All men of all ages are invited to attend this quarterly gathering of men for breakfast and discussion. (Location: Ascension House.) This group also takes a yearly retreat in October with a guest facilitator to lead the retreat.

Mardi Gras (below)

Weekly Coffee Hour after the 10:30am service, offers time for social interaction, fellowship, and catching up with old friends and greeting visitors and new comers.

International Dinner! In October of each year, Ascension hosts our annual International dinner. This evening is a special time of sharing our different cultural and ethnic foods as a meal. Dancing also is a fun addition!

Afternoon Tea! In Spring 2010, Ascension will be offering an afternoon tea. A delightful gathering for wonderful food, a pleasant atmosphere, and entertainment.

Mardi Gras! The weekend before Ash Wednesday Ascension holds its annual Mardi Gras celebration which includes dinner, silent, and live auction! (Coming February 2010)

Spaghetti Dinner/Talent Night! A coffee house experience where Italian food is served and people are invited to share their gifts of music, poetry, dramatic reading, singing, art, drawing, etc. (Coming in May 2010)

Carnival/Community Day! In early June, Ascension puts on a Carnival/Communtiy day for the enjoyment of the church and the surrounding community. Games, food, white elephant table, etc.Last year, our Rector sat in a dunk tank - a special game of dunking the Rector! (Coming June 2010)
