Fun and Fellowship

Playtime is sacred time. Breaking bread together is something that we do not only in worship, but also as family and friends.

Weekly Events

Coffee Hour

Coffee hour is the "eighth sacrament" that we celebrate each Sunday after the 10:00 a.m. service. Anyone (individuals or groups) can volunteer to host a coffee hour; a sign-up sheet and instructions are located on the bulletin board in the parish hall.

The Men's Breakfast Group meets several times a year on Saturday mornings for breakfast and fellowship. There is also an annual men's retreat. All men are welcome.

Seasonal Events

International Dinner

It's the biggest and tastiest fellowship event of the year! Each year, members of our multicultural and well-traveled parish join together to prepare and serve delicious dishes from around the world.

Blessing of the Animals

In our annual celebration of St. Francis Day in October, we offer blessings and refreshments for both animals and their human companions.

Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper

On Shrove Tuesday (the day before Ash Wednesday), we host a traditional pancake supper, which recalls the ancient tradition of using up the eggs, milk and fat forbidden during the fasting of Lent. "Shrove" refers to the ancient practice of being "shriven" (confessing and receiving absolution) in order to begin and keep a holy Lent.

Lenten Simple Suppers

During Lent, a simple soup supper is prepared each week. Following the program, a presentation on a seasonal topic is offered. Childcare is provided.
